Peroni Nastro Azzurro shortlists four agencies in creative review

Italian beer brand Peroni Nastro Azzurro has shortlisted four agencies as part of creative review process handled by London-based consultancy AAR.

The Asahi Breweries-owned firm has selected Accenture Song, McCann London, Uncommon Creative Studio and the incumbent Trouble Maker as the final batch of agencies in the pitch process.

As the incumbent, Trouble Maker has held the Peroni Nastro Azzurro account since 2020, securing what was at the time its first-ever creative client.

Trouble Maker recently worked on the beer brand’s first-ever winter campaign which celebrated the brand’s Italian roots in the run-up to the festive period.

The news that Peroni Nastro Azzurro was initiating a creative review was first broken by Campaign in March, with the brand later confirming that the review would not affect any other brands or agency relationships.

The move comes as Asahi UK announced that it would be working with a new creative agency for the British market, selecting London-based independent The Corner.
