Motability appoints VCCP as lead agency partner

Mobility company Motability Operations has appointed creative agency network VCCP Group as its new agency partner as its looks to expand and develop its brand presence.

The move will see the group’s creative and media agencies, VCCP and VCCP Media overseeing the firm’s brand strategy, media and creative operations.

VCCP secured Motability’s account at the conclusion of a competitive pitch process handled by consultancy AAR and follows on from VCCP Group’s design agency SomeOne winning the branding business back in September.

“We were very pleased with VCCP’s strategic approach to our brand, focusing around ‘The service that keeps you moving’,” Motability Operations CMO, Lisa Thomas said.

“We are excited to be starting work with VCCP across brand strategy, media and creative communications, and seeing our first work go live.”

Motability currently ensures that over 700,000 people with disabilities or illnesses across the UK have access to the vehicles they need, including mobility scooters, cars or powered wheelchairs.
