Ocado to revamp rapid delivery service Zoom

Ocado’s rapid delivery service, Ocado Zoom is set to be revamped with a new logo and a new name, “Zoom by Ocado”.

Brand colours will be livened up from greens and blues to more lively shades of bright pinks and yellows in order to move away from traditionally formulaic colours in the grocery sector.

“The new look and feel allows us to stand out and mark the next chapter of our Zoom journey.

“As we expand our Zoom offering and open a number of new sites this year, now feels like the right time to give our brand an exciting refresh as we look to differentiate our rapid delivery service from others on the market, and from Ocado.com.”

Zoom by Ocado’s new logo was created by online grocer’s internal design team with support from Ocado’s established creative partners JKR and St Luke’s.

A marketing campaign to promote the rebrand is set to be launched later this year.

The rapid delivery service’s rebrand follows a major change in Ocado’s brand identity earlier last year, when it changed its colour scheme from green to “grape”.

A company spokesperson said at the time: “Green is widely used in grocery branding in the UK, and frankly, we hate to be mistaken for anyone else.”
