Bacardi unveils ‘Move Like It’s Summer’ campaign

Bacardi has launched its “Move Like It’s Summer” campaign, encouraging people to embrace their “summer selves”.

As part of the brand’s wider ‘Do What Moves You’ ethos, this new initiative will include several short films and some new additions to the Bacardi Real Rum Canned Cocktails line.

The rum company’s marketing campaign will feature a 30-second film and two other shorter vignettes titled “Beach Day” and “Block Party”.

All three films depict the new Bacardi Real Rum Canned Cocktails line including Pina Colada, Mojito, Mango Mojito, Strawberry Mojito, Sunset Punch and Rum Punch flavours.

“The newfangled campaign plays up the warm-weather occasions we’ve all been waiting for,” Barcardi said.

“From lively block parties to carefree beach days – each vignette bursts with life as we bid farewell to the ordinary and slide into the season of spontaneity, beach lounging, and day parties that turn into night parties.”

The Major Lazer and J. Balvin song “Que Calor”, also features across all the films included in the campaign.

“We wanted to celebrate that spontaneous, carefree and liberated feeling that comes so naturally with the summer season,” Bacardi global head of brand marketing communications Laila Mignoni said.

“We were able to capture that sentiment through all the spot’s creative elements, colorful transitions, and of course, the music, which really shined through with a huge thanks to talented directing duo, Cliqua.”
