Cheesy fingers: Cheese-scented nail polish released by Velveeta

American processed cheese brand Velveeta has collaborated with Nails Inc to release a cheese-scented nail polish.

The yellow and red ‘Pinkies Out Polish’ was created for ‘pleasure seekers’ who not only love to ‘flaunt and live their best lives’ but also love cheese … so much so that they would be willing to have it on their nails.

“The collab furthers the brand’s latest creative platform, “La Dolce Velveeta,” which is all about stepping out in a confident, unapologetic way to show the world that you’re living a life filled with outrageous pleasure,” the American brand said.

The news comes as many brands look to create campaigns that appeal to Generation Z. A shocking 99% of Generation Z consumers have admitted to frequently skipping ads.

The Kraft Heinz Company-owned brand’s polish will retail at $15 in the US, with ‘irresistible’ nail stickers also being sold for $4.99, all exclusively available on Amazon and Nail Inc online stores.

“Velveeta is known for its rich, creamy texture and cheesy, melty goodness, so what better way to bring this to life for our fans than with something equally as rich and creamy — nail polish,” The Kraft Heinz Company senior brand communications manager, Kelsey Rice, said.

“Our Velveeta Pinkies Out Polish gives pleasure seekers everywhere an irresistible new way to show the world that they are living “La Dolce Velveeta” by living pinkies out.”
