Barbour partners with National Trust to aid restoration efforts

Luxury clothing brand Barbour has partnered with the National Trust to help with clean-up and restoration efforts at three of its properties across Northumberland which are still struggling after extensive damaged caused by Storm Arwen last winter.

Barbour will support the heritage organisation with woodland restoration efforts being undertaken at Wallington estate near Morpeth, Cragside estate near Rothbury. Additional help will be provided for renovation efforts at the iconic Hadrian’s Wall.

As part of the partnership, the South Shields brand is also set to commit to the planting of 10,000 trees with a view to helping the National Trust establish 20 million trees by 2030. Barbour has made an additional commitment to plant 100,000 trees this year to help fight climate change.
