Moshulu celebrates 25th anniversary by releasing sustainable footwear collab with National Trust

British footwear brand Moshulu is celebrating its 25th anniversary by releasing a sustainable, limited edition range in collaboration with the National Trust, Europe’s largest conservation charity.

Moshulu will contribute a minimum of £10,000 from sales of this range to the National Trust, in order to support the organisation’s various conservation projects such as maintaining Britain’s coastlines and iconic landmarks.

The Devon-based brand claims that its nine-part 2022 Autumn/Winter collection is its ‘most environmentally conscious’ to date, using a carefully curated selection of sustainable materials such as recycled cotton laces, recycled plastic bottle “suede”, responsibly sourced leather and recycled rubber soles.

“We’re thrilled to finally reveal our wonderful new collection with the National Trust! We’ve loved working with the charity’s team and reinventing a selection of our bestselling styles in sustainable materials and gorgeous prints, whilst upholding what our customers value from us; comfort, colour and detail,” Moshulu’s head of marketing, Kate James said.

“Being a Devon-based brand, and with almost 60% of our stores within a half hour drive of the coast, we adore our beautiful seashores. That’s why it’s important for Moshulu to support a charity like the National Trust, and donate 10% from every purchase of this gorgeous range to help fund their vital coastal conservation.”

National Trust brand licensing manager, Becky Stanford added: “This collection captures the essence of the coastline so beautifully – I can almost feel the seaweed swaying in the ocean.

“More importantly, Moshulu are really bringing the story of the coast, the wildlife that lives there and the need for protection to customers, and that is wonderful to see.”
