Leeds-based marketing agency Perfect Storm has been appointed as the lead digital agency for the UK’s biggest specialist seafood firm, Young’s.

The historic Grimsby-based business selected Perfect Storm following a competitive pitch process involving agencies from the length and breadth of the UK.

Perfect Storm’s new remit will include overseeing a re-branding process alongside a new, digital-first marketing strategy, which will include the implementation of ‘always on’ and integrated campaign bursts to support new product launches in the coming years.

The agency’s first work for Young’s will be the launch of a new fillet fish finger range at Asda, supported by an omnichannel campaign in conjunction with price promotions.

Young’s brand refresh drops Grimsby’s historic Dock Tower from its packaging to highlight the role of Elizabeth Young – who co-founded the firm in 1805, playing a groundbreaking role as a female entrepreneur.
