TripleLift appoints new chief business officer in expansion drive

Ad tech firm TripleLift has today (13 December) named Sonja Kristiansen as its new chief business officer, a role newly-created by the expanding company.

Upon joining TripleLift’s executive team, Kristiansen’s new remit will consist of managing the company’s strategic initiatives and corporate development, alongside driving new global partnerships.

“Sonja possesses a rare combination of dynamic leadership skills and keen understanding for all parts of the digital media ecosystem,” TripleLift CEO, Dave Clark said.

“She is a trusted partner to our customers, a beloved leader inside our walls and a knowledgeable leader in the industry. Sonja will be central to building out and driving our strategy moving forward.”

Through the creation of this new role, Triple Lift will be hoping to accelerate the development of strategic partnerships, in addition to helping helping its client better monetise their content and reach audiences more effectively.

Kristiansen herself added: “With so much transformation happening in the industry, there’s an opportunity for TripleLift to capitalise on those shifts and accelerate its roadmap as a top SSP partner. I’m excited to drive TripleLift’s execution against its strategic plan and create more value for our clients.”
