Australian furniture brand Koala has offered Prince Harry a royal discount after he admitted openly in his autobiography that he “felt embarrassed” by his “IKEA and second-hand furniture”.
The marketing stunt – featured in a full-page ad in The Daily Telegraph – saw the brand reassure Harry that he need not be embarrassed by his home decor anymore.
Offering the Prince the discount code ‘ROYALTREATMENT15’, the brand went on to write: “Dear Harry and Meghan, don’d be embarrassed by your home decor anymore. Live like royalty with a discount code we made just for you.”
The news comes days after the nation piled into bookstores to buy Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’.

Providing all customers with a 15% discount, the promotion will be available until 15 January.
“As Australia’s leaders in uniquely designed mattresses and furniture, we take any claims of furniture embarrassment very seriously,” Koala chief commercial officer, Rory Costello, said.
“We know all too well the pain of missing the mark on a good home furnishing and we want to do our part in helping Prince Harry and Meghan reset and redecorate, with the comfiest, most luxurious and most sustainable in modern furniture.”
The news comes weeks after Channel 4 advertised its upcoming Prince Andrew TV musical on a mobile billboard outside the Pizza Express restaurant in which Prince Andrew allegedly met seventeen-year-old Virginia Roberts.
