WPP bags number one spot in WARC Effective 100 list

Agency group WPP has been named the number one company in the WARC (World Advertising Research Center) Effective 100 list.

After also ranking first in WARC’s Media 100 and Creative 100 lists, WPP has taken home the triple in the WARC 100 Lists 2023.

Creative agency Ogilvy was named the number one agency network in the Effective 100, with EssenceMediacom, Grey Group, Mindshare Worldwide, VMLY&R, Wunderman Thompson and Wavemaker all making the top 20.

The ‘big six’ agency also took six of the top 10 slots in the media agency effectiveness ranking, with Wavemaker Mumbai topping the list while Mindshare New York, EssenceMediacom London, Mindshare Shanghai, EssenceMediacom New York and Mindshare Stockholm all featured.

“We’re extremely proud to have topped the WARC Media 100, Creative 100, and now the WARC Effective 100 lists for 2023,” WPP CEO Mark Read said. “Our strong agency representation across the three rankings showcases both the power of our ideas and the strength of our partnerships with clients. This recognition from WARC is a great endorsement of our amazing teams and their ability to deliver creative and innovative work that has a transformative impact around the world.”
