Saracens names Trek as its official snack bar partner

Natural Balance Foods has announced that its Trek brand has become the official snack bar partner of Saracens Rugby Club.

Hailed as the UK’s number-one plant-based protein bar brand, the collaboration hopes to broaden Trek’s appeal to a new audience of rugby enthusiasts.

According to the company, protein ‘variants’ added £25 million to the UK snack bar market in 2022 and this is expected to increase by an estimated 6.2% between 2022 and 2028.

Trek will be joining Saracen fans in ‘cheering the team on, with branding due to be placed on the back of the team’s shorts and across game day social media content.

The snack-bar brand’s retail sales value has reportedly risen to £23.3 million, a 26.4% growth year-on-year, while penetration has climbed 9.7% year-on-year.
