Heathrow Express celebrates 25 years with touching OOH campaign

Heathrow Express is set to mark its 25th anniversary with a new out-of-home campaign featuring a series of bespoke passport stamps across its network.

Developed by independent agency St Luke’s, the campaign links the high-speed rail service to key milestones in people’s lives such as stag and hen parties, birthdays and big business meetings.

Handcrafted to created an authentic ink-on-paper feel, the creative will run across digital six-sheets and escalator panels from the end of May into June.

“Many of life’s most exciting adventures begin at the airport, and over the past 25 years, the Heathrow Express has played an essential role in getting passengers to the airport in speed and comfort. These engaging passport stamp stories bring that to life in a charming and relatable way,” Heathrow Express business lead, Dan Edwards said.

With media planning and buying handled by WPP agency Wavemaker, a second instalment of the creative will be released in August and September.

St Luke’s joint chief creative officer, Richard Denney added: “When you open up your passport and take a look at the stamps inside, not only do they remind you of where you have been but also of the important moments that happened whilst away. And for millions of passengers over the last 25 years, Heathrow Express has been the start of those unforgettable trips.”
