Foxy Bingo brings the party in disco-inspired laundrette campaign

Foxy Bingo is bringing the party to an unsuspecting laundrette in a summer multi-channel campaign from neverland which offers an ‘antidote to boredom’.

Expanding on the success of the hugely successful ‘Get Your Fox On’ creative platform, which launched in 2022 and brought the party to a ‘Foxy’ salon and its clientele, this latest campaign sees the ‘BoomFox’ bringing the same excitement to a launderette.

Supported by a series of product films and a responsible gambling film, the Foxy Bingo campaign will run across video on demand (VOD), connected TV, digital, social and audio channels.

Accompanied by the disco track ‘Do you Wanna Funk Me’ by Patrick Cowley, the vibrant creative showcases characters spontaneously dancing to the music.

To maximise the creative’s reach, media agency the7stars developed a strategy to position GVC-owned Foxy Bingo as the ‘antidote to boredom’. As a result, the targeted campaign will show up during mundane, everyday moments, such as disrupting thumb-scrolling on newsfeeds or through targeting specific boredom-related search terms.

“It’s not every day you get to bring the party to so many places. This was as fun to make as it is to watch,” said neverland executive creative director, Note Bunting.

“Our goal was to give people a reason to break their routine and engage with the campaign,” said the7stars strategist Lashantay Richards.

“But to truly be an antidote to boredom, we needed to think like a true entertainer, elevating Foxy’s personality by turning up in unexpected moments with attention-grabbing tactics that amplify the brand’s role in everyday life.”
