London Gatwick has had its World Duty Free stores transformed in a ‘Wonderful World’ summer campaign, produced by independent creative agency, Live & Breathe.

Showcased across multiple channels, including out-of-home (OOH) the campaign targets the World Duty-Free store at both terminals at London’s second-largest airport, promoting experiences and saving opportunities to passers-by.

Travellers are invited to ‘relax refresh and ready’ themselves for their summer holiday and are offered different areas within the store space to relax, take selfies and sample products.

The reignited campaign – which normally runs every summer but has recently suffered from an unplanned hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic – aims to drive new footfall, sales and revenue by engaging with consumers to create memorable experiences.

“It’s great to be able to re-introduce our annual summer campaign at London Gatwick. Live & Breathe have helped us to really bring this creative to life and make the store and the wider airport areas exciting, interactive and welcoming,” said World Duty Free UK commercial director, Eve Fifer.

“All the elements combine to get travellers holidays off to a memorable start and feedback from our customers has been very positive,” Fifer added.
