The Corner London secures Squealing Pig global creative account

Independent agency The Corner London has secured Squealing Pig’s global creative account at the conclusion of a competitive pitch process overseen by TrinityP3.

Wine brand Squealing Pig, a subsidiary of Melbourne-based Treasury Wine Estates (which also owns 19 Crimes and Wolf Blass), announced the pitch last month and had no incumbent agency.

The Corner London will now set about devising a creative brand strategy and global advertising campaign for Squealing Pig, in a bid to ‘fuel momentum’ across a range of global markets including the UK, US, Australia and Asia.

“The Corner impressed us with their smarts, creativity and collaborative way of working from the off. They demonstrated a great understanding of exactly what makes this brand so special and unique, and how we might continue to unlock its potential for recruitment into the category,” Treasury Wine Estates head of brand marketing Marcus Ingleby said.

Founded in 2012 by Neil Simpson, Tom Ewart and Neil Hourston, the agency has experienced rapid growth over the past 18 months and already includes major brands such as Adidas, Asahi and Toyota among its clients.

Simpson added: “There were a lot of great international agencies involved in this pitch, so it’s no surprise that we are squealing with joy.”
