Rail Delivery Group selects TMW Unlimited after hard-fought competitive pitch

The Rail Delivery Group has named London-based TMW Unlimited as its new creative agency of record following a six-way competitive pitch process.

TMW Unlimited will now work on the portfolio of brands managed by the Rail Delivery Group, which will include National Rail and Railcard products, alongside campaigns to entice the British public back on to the railways.

The agency’s remit will include oversight of the rail industry body’s strategy and creative development across multiple channels including above the line, digital and social.

“This is another fantastic win for us. Rail Delivery Group and National Rail have been responsible for some brilliant campaigns, and we’re extremely excited about the opportunity to work together. Public tenders are always hugely competitive, so this is additional evidence that our Ideas That Move People offering is resonating with clients,” TMW Unlimited CEO, Chris Mellish said.

Having secured a two-year contract, TMW Unlimited will begin work effective immediately. This latest win comes off the back of a highly successful year for the agency, which has secured the lead creative accounts of Oak Furnitureland, Pride in London and NS&I all in the past six months.

Rail Delivery Group head of propositions and marketing, Catherine Lyver added: “TMW Unlimited provided a well-rounded response, and based on their in-house capabilities and collaborative approach we believe they are going to be a great creative partner.

“Rail might be a heritage industry, but we were looking for a partner who could think differently and challenge us in our thinking. We were blown away by the strategy, passion and team chemistry, and we are very excited to start working with them.”
