A tactical new tongue-in-cheek trailer, from the BBC’s in-house team BBC Creative, highlights that it provides gutting football news (at least for Liverpool fans) as well as hit television shows like Casualty.

The 30-second spot then shows one of the paramedic stars saying “No!”, before cutting to copy that reads “Not just telly” before flagging the BBC’s wider offering from sports, to iPlayer, news and Bitesize.
It is not the first time BBC Creative has promoted the broadcaster’s sports offering, with a 60-second film last year bringing home the notion that “This Game Belongs To All of Us”.
It comes as broadcast TV has broadly seen a drop in viewership, as viewers move to other more flexible methods of watching, including streaming and video-on-demand.
