Bullish Publicis forecasts 5% growth across 2024

Publicis Groupe has said that it is forecasting up to 5% organic growth across 2024, crediting a strong performance in the media, tech and creative sectors.

The French holding company revealed on a call last month that its 2023 net revenue organic growth was 6.3% – driven by a ‘better than expected’ fourth quarter which saw 5.7% growth.

Expressing a bullish attitude to continued growth in 2024, Publicis said that it expected to maintain a profit margin of 18%, believing that it would “significantly outperform the industry” this quarter.

Signalling the vital importance of AI to its long-term growth strategy, the agency recently unveiled plans to invest a colossal 255.6 million in the technology over the next three years.

Its reported full-year net revenue for 2023 was up 4.2% to £11.2 billion, with an operating margin of 18% (£2.1 billion.) Publicis’ full year Ebitda was up 1.6% to £2.5 billion.

The Paris-based firm added that its organic growth was currently 500 basis points above the holding company norm – with growth escalating at “twice as fast as its IT consulting peers”.
