Britvic selects new social media agency

Soft drink firm Britvic has appointed Coolr as its new social media agency of record following a competitive pitch, closing a review process that was opened in November last year.

Specialised in social media and influencer marketing, Coolr will now oversee social content and campaigns for a range of household brands within the Britvic portfolio, including J2O, Robinsons and Tango.

Coolr’s remit will now involve bringing a social-first approach to Britvic’s diverse array of brands, leaning heavily into content and innovation in a bid to drive cultural relevance.

“We’re very happy to be working with Britvic. The brands we are working with are a natural fit for Coolr and we have lots of creative ideas that we’re excited to bring to life!” Coolr managing director, Olivia Blairman said.

The appointment will also see the Farringdon-based agency produce work for Mathieu Teisseire, Aqua Libra and London Essence, with this latest account win forming part of an ambitious expansion plan.

Britvic head of digital marketing, Callum Watt added: “We are really pleased to be partnering with Coolr on the next phase of our social journey. Throughout the pitch process we were very impressed by their team who demonstrated passion for our brands, creativity and exciting social first initiatives!”
