Brooklyn Brewery collaborates with Spike Lee for new brand film

Brooklyn Brewery has partnered with iconic director Spike Lee’s creative agency Spike DDB to launch a heartfelt new brand film that celebrates the cultural heart and soul of the Brooklyn neighbourhood.

Directed by husband-and-wife creative filmmaking duo King She, the brand’s film features a cameo by Lee himself and takes place around a Brooklyn block and bodega – emblematic symbols of New York cultural life.

Featuring a cast of real Brooklynites, the film looks to immerse audiences in the electric energy and spirit of the borough, as well as its rich cultural heritage.

“From Basquiat to Biggie, Streisand to Stanwyck, Brooklyn has always been a beacon for visionaries. Spike DDB is a diverse collective of creative storytellers and filmmaking alchemists, changing perceptions and providing inspiration to keep culture moving in a progressive direction.

Rolling out across Europe, the key creative will be supported by a multi-million-pound campaign with executions breaking across TV, digital, out-of-home and social media.
