Levi’s taps Amelia Dimoldenberg for new movement-centred spot

Levi’s throws Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg into the spotlight for its latest campaign which shows her shimmying through her house from morning to night.

The British comedian and dead-pan Hollywood red carpet presenter lends her viral dance moves to the newest Levi’s ad, before returning home at the end of the day, chicken nugget firmly in hand.

Launching across Levi’s channels and in select stores, the ‘Dimz Dances In Denim’ spot is designed to tap into the fashion brand’s ‘Live In Levi’s’ messaging. Featuring three different looks, the ad highlights the versatility of the brand while still giving a personal nod to Dimoldenberg’s own, unique interpretation of events.

The film and and social campaign was produced by Margaret and directed by Kaj Jeffries, with choreography carried out in collaboration with movement director and artist at Tracy Emin’s TKE Studios in Margate.

Throughout the film Dimoldenberg sports a series of separate looks, featuring Levi’s essential sporty tee, baggy dad jeans and black tank top.

This is not the first time the brand has tapped into comedy, as this latest ad follows a recent film starring renowned British satirist Munya Chawawa.

The spot – which was conceived and delivered by the comedian’s own production company Munz Made It – takes us deep inside the mind of Chawawa (the jeanius) as he plans his next satirical takedown video.

The two Live in Levi’s ads celebrate pushing British culture and society forward, with both campaigns celebrating each star’s individual approach to the concept.
