“Changing just one journey from car to train can have a positive impact on an individual’s climate footprint,” Trainline head of sustainability, Natalie Marques said.

“By celebrating the thousands of Climate Heroes descending on Glastonbury Festival this week, we hope that this will encourage even more people to say “I came by train” during this festival season and beyond.”

The activation forms part of the ongoing ‘I came by train’ initiative which aims to encourage people to make the switch to rail journeys instead of taking the car or plane.
